Why should I invest in electric construction equipment?

You’ll enjoy lower maintenance costs. It’s becoming increasingly common for construction projects to require the use of zero-emission machinery. By investing in electric construction equipment, your company can perform work in zero-emission zones, noise-sensitive areas, outside of regular working hours, and indoors or in enclosed environments such as mines or tunnels.
Do XCMG's electric construction machines require less maintenance?

Yes. Electric construction equipment requires less maintenance because you don’t have to worry about engine oil, oil changes, exhaust systems, or mufflers. Fewer wear parts mean fewer downtimes and more predictable operating costs. Less time spent on maintenance means more time spent in production, and maintenance costs are often 75% lower over the machine’s lifetime.
Do electric construction machines perform just as well in cold weather as they do in warm weather?

The performance of XCMG’s electric construction machinery is top-of-the-line in the industry. These machines have been successfully tested and used in both cold and warm environments. They perform exceptionally well in temperatures ranging from +30°C to -30°C without any noticeable loss of power.

How does the Swedish Energy Agency's climate incentive work?

How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
Since January 2022, it has been possible to apply for the Swedish Energy Agency’s climate incentive. The incentive applies to certain eco-friendly trucks and electric work machines, and applicants can receive support for up to 20% of the purchase price or 40% of the additional cost between an electric machine and a comparable diesel-powered machine.
Electric work machines are motorized equipment or tractors, as defined by the Road Traffic Act, with a net power output exceeding 15 kW that are powered solely by electrical energy from a fuel cell, a battery, or an external source.
Under these rules, the climate incentive is available for the vast majority of XCMG machines, with the exception of the very smallest ones.
